Review: Fresh Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Face Mask

I'm all about boosting my glow, and especially in the dry winter, having a glow is a major key. Enter, Fresh Beauty's latest mask release, the Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Mask ($62). If this was placed side-by-side in a blind smell test with a jar of citrus marmalade, I don't think you'd be able to tell much of a difference. A concentrated combo of AHA fruit acids in oranges, lemons and clementines gently exfoliate and smooth your skin while vitamins C, E & B5 promote your natural glow.

I'm loving the transition in masking I've seen over the past few years with releases like this, peel-off masks, and sheet masks that are a major upgrade from the mint clay masks of yesteryear. It's time to break the stereotype that masks are just for purifying your pores before bed, but that they can be used to boost your inner glow and plump your skin, day or night.

I've been loving this mask for mornings where I'm feeling a little blah, which isn't an uncommon feeling for early fall and winter mornings. The texture is pretty similar to jam, which was a bit startling at first, but is now something I look forward to slathering on in the morning. I'd recommend washing it off after 10-15 minutes with a warm washcloth and applying your favorite serum (i.e. Glossier's Super Glow) to finish your routine.

I was sent this mask for consideration by Fresh but am not being influenced by any opinions but my own.
