Best Vegan Food In Miami

I had such a great time exploring all of what Miami has to offer, including plenty of vegan bites! I’m a little disappointed that the city as a whole hasn’t exactly caught up to Los Angeles (and other cities) when it comes to cutting back on plastic (aside from straws), but let’s hope in the future more spots will incorporate compostable and reusable options.

Pura Vida: I ended up visiting Pur Vida three mornings during my trip, and experienced several menu items that I enjoyed. Here’s what I recommend: PB Acai Bowl, Vegan Mixed Veggie Empanada, Avocado Smash, iced Matcha with Almond mylk. Don’t forget to grab a giant chocolate chip walnut cookie before you leave!

Thatch: This was one of the most delicious vegan meals I have ever had! The thatch mac was creamy and cheesy, and the sandwich was the perfect blend of all textures and flavor profiles. The decor at Thatch is perfect, and is overall so well-designed.

Planta: I wish I had gone in-person to the restaurant instead of getting delivery, but I was so exhausted the night I ate from there I didn’t have the energy. The sauce on the udon noodles was ridiculously good and creamy, and I loved the mushroom medley. The truffle fries were also delicious!

Full Bloom Gourmet Vegan Cuisine: I went here for a late lunch and really enjoyed the farro risotto and cheesy brussels sprouts. I wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price, but overall I really enjoyed this food!

Dreamer: This wasn’t my favorite avocado toast I’ve ever had, but it’s still worth visiting for a cute photo and yummy matcha with house-pressed coconut milk.

Chef Chloe & The Vegan Cafe: I tried a vegan carbonara on kelp noodles made by Chloe Coscarelli during the SOBEWFF Italian Bites on the Beach event, and I was excited to go into her cafe. I had a hard time initially finding the cafe (the market it is inside was recently renamed) but was happy I finally did! I wish there had been cake available since that was what I was looking forward to trying, but the cookie was great!

I have a few spots on my list for the next time I visit and can’t wait to return! Where else should I try?
