Disneyland & Disney California Adventure Vegan Food Guide

last updated: January 2024

As a vegan, it can be sometimes be difficult to find options when out and about. Luckily, it’s way easier than you might think to find delicious vegan options at Disneyland! I have been able to try a wide variety of food items available at the parks and wanted to share them with all of my fellow plant-based eaters and readers.

Below, you’ll find a running list of vegan options I’ve tried and loved (or not loved) at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, broken down by land. Things are always changing, so be sure to check the Disneyland app or website for the most up to date info about what’s currently available!

DISNEYLAND

DISNEY CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE

DISNEY HOTELS

DISNEYLAND

ADVENTURELAND

Hummus Trio @ Bengal Barbecue // If you’re looking for a quick and healthy snack, head to Bengal Barbecue!

Critter Country

Classic Impossible Burger @ Hungry Bear // I really hope they start melting cheese on vegan items in the future! I loved the sauce and the burger was cooked well, but having a slice of raw cheese just doesn’t do it for me.

Fantasyland

Little Town Harvest Bowl @ Red Rose Taverne // So happy to have a vegan breakfast option at Disneyland! This bowl is absolutely delicious and very filling.

Candelabra’s Burger @ Red Rose Taverne // This is a super tasty option that I like this a lot more than the enchanted cauliflower sandwich which used to be on the menu.

Frontierland

Cauliflower Tacos @ Rancho del Zocalo // Flavorful, filling, and absolutely delicious! Everything is really fresh and tasty here, and there’s plenty of seating if you need a quiet spot to relax. This is one of my all-time favorite foods to enjoy.

Tostada Salad @ Rancho del Zocalo // Another great dish at Rancho del Zocalo, would highly recommend this one! Just order the salad, substitute cauliflower for meat and hold the dairy.

BBQ Tofu @ River Belle Terrace // Definitely recommend getting out of the sun and taking in the sights of Frontierland from the River Belle Terrace patio area! This is a bit on the spicy side, but nice and filling! (Mid-2023 update - the menu at River Belle recently changed and this is no longer available. I will update once I visit and try the new menu!)

Corn on the Cob Succotash @ River Belle Terrace // I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this was really good! If you aren’t too hungry, this can be a good option. Mid-2023 update - the menu at River Belle recently changed and this is no longer available. I will update once I visit and try the new menu!)

Seasonal Cobbler with Ice Cream @ River Belle Terrace // Absolutely love that there’s a great dessert option here! Mine was blueberry, raspberry and strawberry. Yum! (Mid-2023 update - the menu at River Belle recently changed and this is no longer available. I will update once I visit and try the new menu!)

Impossible Chili Cheese Fries @ The Golden Horseshoe // I was pleasantly surprised with this! It was a super tasty, but very heavy/filling, option. Definitely recommend giving it a try! (Mid-2023 update - The Golden Horseshoe is closed for renovations and there are no vegan options available.)

Main Street, U.S.A.

Brownie a la Mode @ Carnation Cafe // So happy to have a new dessert item on the menu! This was a delicious treat and I’d highly recommend!

Hearty Veggie Burger @ Carnation Cafe // I’ve had better veggie burgers before, but this was still tasty and filling. Love the seasoned fries, too!

Cranberry-Pecan Salad @ Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe // This is a delicious salad option that I’m so pleased to see on the menu here! It’s not heavy at all (no Impossible meat), and the dressing was very tasty. Love that it comes with a warm bread stick!

Mickey’s toontown

Spring Garden Wrap @ Café Daisy // Love the chips this came with but I was a bit disappointed in the wrap! It was on the soggy side and not my favorite.

New Orleans Square

Cajun Cauliflower @ Blue Bayou // This was my first ever table dining experience at Disneyland and it totally lived up to the hype! Absolutely loved this, it was very filling and flavorful. (2023 update - the menu at Blue Bayou changed after a refurbishment and this is no longer available. I will update once I visit and try the new menu!)

Farro Risotto @ Cafe Orleans // This was such a delicious and filling meal, and I loved dining on the patio looking over New Orleans Square! (Mid-2023 update - the menu at Cafe Orleans is slightly different but they still have a risotto on the menu.)

7 Greens Gumbo @ Tiana’s Palace // I love the ambiance here but I wasn’t impressed with this dish. I will give it another try without ordering from mobile order to see if it makes a difference.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread @ Docking Bay 7 // This is a super tasty lunch! I love that the meatballs have some quinoa and the hummus is excellent.

Blue Milk @ Milk Stand // This coconut and rice milk blend has a fruity flavor and tiny crushed ice cubes that will quench your thirst on a hot day! There is also a Green Milk which has notes of citrus.

Ronto-less Garden Wrap @ Ronto Roasters // This wrap is SO good! I love all the flavors and the hot pita, definitely a favorite food item in the parks.

Tomorrowland

Impossible Bolognese @ Alien Pizza Planet // This could have been better, could have been worse. The pasta alone wasn’t very hot, but the sauce was. (The menu rotates here, so be on the lookout for this and other vegan items!)

Impossible Breakfast Bowl @ Galactic Grill // This was decently tasty, but definitely a smaller portion than other breakfast options. I also wish it had a sauce like a chipotle or garlic aioli!

Veggie Wrap @ Galactic Grill // I would pass on this, to be honest! It was cold and I think it would have been better grilled. But you can’t go wrong with the fries it comes with! (The menu rotates here, so be on the lookout for this and other vegan items!)

CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE

Avengers Campus

Impossible Spoonful @ Pym’s Test Kitchen // I really loved these meatballs, but the pasta didn’t taste very fresh.

Impossible Quantum Garden Breakfast @ Pym’s Test Kitchen // Kind of good, kind of bad? The tater tots were super good and so was the focaccia, but the sausage and egg were SUPER dry, and as you can probably see - so was that little orange slice. I also wish this came with some kind of an aioli or sauce.

Impossible Breakfast Sha-warm-up @ Shawarma Palace // If you’re starting the day at DCA, this is a must! Super flavorful, and love the kick that the spiced maple syrup provides.

Impossible Victory Falafel @ Shawarma Palace // This isn’t my favorite lunch option but could be a good choice if you can’t order something at a quick service spot.

BUENA VISTA STREET

Banana Split @ Clarabelle’s // A fully vegan ice cream sundae is now available at Clarabelle’s! You can also order a single or double scoop of vanilla or strawberry ice cream if you’re not in the mood for a full sundae.

Cars Land

Impossible Burger @ Flo’s V8 Cafe // Quick-service burgers are just not my favorite (cheese not being melted, pretty plain experience), but I do give props to this one for having caramelized onions on it, served with steak fries.

GRIZZLY PEAK

Chorizo Burrito @ Smokejumpers Grill // An exciting late 2023 update is that Smokejumpers now has breakfast! This was on the dry side, but I’m interested in making another visit to try it again. Definitely loved the breakfast seasoned fries it came with!

Double Impossible Cheeseburger @ Smokejumpers Grill // This might be my favorite quick service burger option in the park! The melted cheese makes a HUGE difference, and every other quick service burger I’ve had hasn’t been great.

Hollywood Land

Al Pastor Loaded Potato @ Studio Catering Co. // I really liked the toppings on this, but the potato wasn’t cooked as well as it could have been. Hopefully that will improve! (The menu rotates here and this is not currently available, but be on the lookout for other vegan items!)

Backlot Nachos @ Studio Catering Co. // These nachos were pretty tasty! The soy chorizo did feel like more of a “carnitas” style, and I didn’t love the cheese sauce (wish it was shredded cheese), but this was still a good snack. (The menu rotates here and this is not currently available, but be on the lookout for other vegan items!)

Paradise Gardens

Plant-based Chorizo Quesadilla @ Paradise Garden Grill // This is cheesy, filling and yummy!. (September 2023 update - The menu rotates here seasonally, so this will likely only be available for a few months this fall.)

PERFORMANCE CORRIDOR

Impossible Sicilian Meatball Flatbread @ Magic Key Terrace // This is a bit small for the price, but it was very delicious! The meat was well-seasoned and I really loved the ricotta and pesto. (late 2023 update - They recently changed the menu and this is no longer available!)

Spaghetti Aglio Olio @ Wine Country Trattoria // There isn’t much to this dish, but it was still filling and nice to enjoy on a cold day.

Tomato Salad @ Wine Country Trattoria // More bread would have made this more enjoyable.

Torta Della Nonna @ Wine Country Trattoria // Definitely one of my favorite desserts I’ve ever had at Disneyland! The dessert options at sit-down restaurants give me hope that more will be coming to quick service in the future. (late 2023 update - They changed the menu and this was removed!)

Pixar Pier

Brussels Caesar @ Lamplight Lounge // A yummy and flavorful app to get the meal started!

Brownie @ Lamplight Lounge // Can’t stress enough how much I love all the vegan desserts they’ve been offering at restaurants lately.

Pastrami-Spiced Impossible Burger @ Lamplight Lounge // This burger was flavorful, delicious, and definitely the best burger I’ve had in the parks! I’m not a huge fan of mustard so I may skip the mustard aioli next time.

Potato Flautas @ Lamplight Lounge // This is the fully vegan brunch option and it was pretty tasty! I think they over-fried the flats just a bit too much, but otherwise this is a great way to start the day.

SAN FRANSOKYO SQUARE

Tacos Dorados de Papa @ Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill // The crispy tacos were delicious, but they were swimming in liquid from the tomatillo salsa! I wish the toppings came on the side or these were a street style taco instead.

Vanilla Coconut Ice Cream @ Ghiradelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop // There is only one vegan flavor currently available at Ghiradelli - Coconut Bliss’ Vanilla flavor. Add Ghiradelli’s non-dairy chocolate syrup and sprinkles for more fun!

Yaki Udon @ Lucky Fortune Cookery // The menu here was newly revamped when the change from Pacific Wharf to San Fransokyo Square happened and this was a great addition!

DISNEY HOTELS

DISNEYLAND HOTEL

Açaí Chia Breakfast Bowl @ Tangaroa Terrace // This bowl was a delicious way to start the day by the pool at the Disneyland Hotel! Dine-in or take it to go, whether you’re a hotel guest or not.

Rongo Salad @ Tangaroa Terrace // On a hot day, this is a super refreshing but filling option to enjoy by the pool or on the Tangaroa Terrace patio.

BOTH PARKS + SNACKS

Chocolate Covered Bananas // Be on the lookout for these on Main St. and Buena Vista St. in both parks at the ice cream carts!

Dole Whip // Find the classic pineapple plus other flavors at the Tropical Hideaway in Disneyland (walk-up only), or the classic pineapple at the Tiki Juice Bar in Disneyland (mobile order only) and at Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel (walk-up or mobile order).

Mickey Mouse Pretzels // These are hot, delicious, and readily available in both parks.

I hope this was helpful. Enjoy your visit!
